Marina Ribeiro da Silva is a Physical Education professional with more than eighteen years dedicated to movement, health, and women's well-being. Movement and bodywork are not two careers. They are two sides of how a body changes.
She started through dance, teaching from age fifteen. She studied Physical Education to professionalise what she had been doing intuitively since childhood. In Brazil she worked with the Minas Gerais government on Movimenta Contagem, the largest free outdoor physical-activity programme in the country.
After the pandemic she founded Mulheres Ativas, a programme for women: particularly women over forty, mothers, and those who had never felt at home in a traditional gym. That line is the heart of her work. Most fitness spaces are not built for the bodies and lives most women actually have.
In Sydney she specialises in women's training across every stage of life, including perimenopause: conditioning, hypertrophy, mobility, posture, body awareness, quality of life. Across ten plus years of bodywork she developed her own fascial-release technique combining breath, somatic awareness, and myofascial release. It is the foundation of every session she runs.
"I believe every woman deserves to feel at home in her own body. That is the work I do. With my hands, with breath, and with care. Whatever brings you here, you do not have to arrive ready. You only have to arrive."
